We respect your privacy and will never pass on or share any data to other organisations without your express permission to do so. 

By signing up for our emails and newsletters, you agree to the following terms:

  1. Coach Advancement Limited is permitted to periodically send you information about programmes, services and events which might be relevant and appropriate for your interest or reference.

  2. Coach Advancement Limited is permitted to periodically send you an update or a newsletter of upcoming activities and/or articles relevant and appropriate for your interest or reference. 

By participating in our programmes, you agree to the following terms:

  1. Coach Advancement Limited is permitted to periodically send you information about programmes, services and events which might be relevant and appropriate for your interest or reference.

  2. Coach Advancement Limited is permitted to periodically send you an update or a newsletter of upcoming activities and/or articles relevant and appropriate for your interest or reference. 

  3. Coach Advancement Limited is permitted to hold your personal and/or professional data (name, address, telephone number, mobile number, email, plus any information contained in notes and email exchanges associated with the piece of work for which you contracted with Tracy Sinclair Limited) for the duration of our business relationship, plus a maximum of 36 months, for the uses stated.
  4. Coach Advancement Limited is permitted to keep a log of your personal and professional data (as outlined above) and may share this data with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) in the event of being asked for client/student/mentee/supervisee data for sampling credential applications/renewal verification or programme accreditation renewal purposes. Tracy Sinclair Limited is also permitted to share this data with your colleagues on your programme for the purposes of organising your peer group work.

  5. Coach Advancement Limited is permitted to keep a log of your personal and professional data (as outlined above) for continuing professional development purposes.

  6. Coach AdvancementLimited will, with the client’s knowledge and permission, record a coaching session for submission and listening by an approved coaching assessor for continuing professional development and credentialing purposes.  ​

(This is to comply with section 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, where “processing of data is necessary for the performance of a contract with the data subject or to take steps to enter into a contract.”)

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Who we share your data with

We do not share or sell any data. If you contact us via this website, your information is only kept on our server or office computer. 

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How we protect your data

As mentioned in the Sign-up section above, we use a third-party service called Active Campaign to keep the email address and name you gave us when you signed up to receive our newsletter and blog posts.

You are offered the opportunity to unsubscribe every time you receive an email from us. 

What data breach procedures we have in place

Our website uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to ensure your details are encrypted and securely communicated to us, safe from prying eyes or malicious threats. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a protocol for enabling data encryption on the Internet and for helping website users confirm the owner of the website. However, we cannot guarantee that your submissions to our website, any content residing on our servers, or any transmissions from our server will be completely secure.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information. However, we are not liable for any unauthorized access to this information.

We use SSL, security and anti-spam plugins. We don’t keep things on the main computer. All of our backup files are in the cloud are encrypted prior to sending them to the Cloud. Our email database is kept and protected by Active Campaign.
